Gerro

"Gerro" is a system of tables designed for the Mebella company, which is a Polish manufacturer of furniture for the contract market. The project has two main inspirations. The first stems from the observation of nature - a water spider of the gerridae species, which uses the surface tension of water to stay on its surface. The second is the architecture - an old Spanish watchtower - "Torre del Gerro". These two phenomena influenced the final appearance of the project and helped define its shape and character. Tables have different heights of bases, as well as sizes and shapes of tops. Each element of the table is a separate part, which makes it easy to replace them if necessary. An additional value is the possibility of flat packing.
